Sep 17, 2009 · Hello I've just installed Norton Ghost 14 on Windows 7 RTM and I got two compatibility warning popups, one for the installer and one for the console. Since Win7's partition layout differs from Vista's, I would like to know if Ghost can properly restore a backup of 7. Thank you.

Since Norton have not explain anything, we cannot confirm that whether any updates of Norton Ghost 12 has helped on Windows 7 compatibility. There may be potential issues. Newer versions Norton Ghost such as Norton Ghost 14 will work in Windows 7.

Feb 02, 2011 · I find Ghost 15 seriously lacking the ability to clone Windows 7 in its current configuation. I used to use Ghost 14 with Windows XP and could make all the cloned copied of my system drive I needed just for security, not so with Windows 7 and Ghost 15.

The team that built and updated it was disbanded in 2011 and therefore there are no more updates.
