I Recently got a dual band wifi connection (2.4 and 5 Ghz). So my laptop will only show the 2.4Ghz wifi connections. I thought maybe my laptop does not support it so i went to "Run", entered "cmd", and then "netsh wlan show drivers".The results showed " Radio types supported : 802.11b 802.11g 802.11n". Then I went to Device Manager and checked the wifi device.

Mar 01, 2017 · I was wondering if my Acer Aspire E1-571 supports 5GHz wireless internet? I have recently bought a new internet, which is 60mbps, and it has a dual band with 5GHz and 2.4GHz. I am able to find the 5GHz through my iPhone, but not on my laptop, so I have to connect to the 2.4GHz. So the problem with 2.4GHz is that it's completely terrible!
