I have a GTX 970 which does support DirectX 12 and a friend with the same video card and driver (the latest version, released the same day as Windows 10) is not having the same problem. Dxdiag indicates that I have DirectX 11.3, while the nVidia control panel indicates that I have DirectX 12.

If that's the case I should worry about it, because I really want DirectX 12! DX12 wont do anythign special unless your using a dual gpu. Any cpu that runs windows 10 will run dx12. The GPU will be the issue. Kad-Man posted...
