If I start top or look into /proc/cpuinfo, I see only two CPUs.If I view the values displayed for my system with virt-manager, that tool shows me 32 vcpus (which is the value I think is correct).. I failed (yet) to find out on a script-level on the hypervisor that correct value (32).

Equally, if the chipset supports VT-d, the processor also should support it. It's my understanding that with VT-c, the processor does not require to support it. It should be supported by the chipset and the PCI-e and/or Intel NIC. It's very intransparent all these technologies. No clear documentation out there.

I have installed xen as hypervisor and there are dom0 and some paravirtualized machins as domu VMs on it. I know xentop is used for checking the performance of system and virtual machines and I can read the output of it for measuring the virtual machine cpu utilization, But, it just gives the total usage of cpus! So, is there any tool or any way to get cpu usages per cores?
