Nov 27, 2016 · 1) 64-bit doesn't run any faster than 32-bit unless a program is starved for memory. 2) 64-bit in general needs 1.25 to 1.5 more memory than 32-bit. 3) If you want to switch from 32-bit to 64-bit, it has to be a clean install, so you will have to make sure that you backup you personal files before doing it, and restore them after you have Windows 10 64-bit installed.
