Mar 19, 2010 · Mac client and Opensolaris box negotiate LM-0.12(NTLMv2) to use for authentication and later no more packets out from Mac client. If I remove the contents of nsmb.conf, Mac client starts communicating NTLMv1 and finally wrong password notification pops up.

Dec 30, 2009 · Firefox can support NTLM if you make changes to the configuration. As long as you are logged in with a Kerberized account (for example, AD integration) then Firefox can answer NTLM. As far as the proxy settings goes....you can add a add-on called system proxy that make Firefox configured for how you have OSX configured.
