Nov 01, 2015 · That been said, there is no inbuilt capabilities in the iPhone currently that can send short messages over Bluetooth at this date, however there could be application in the App Store that does that very well, or perhaps in cydia (require jail breaking the iPhone) Google is our friend.

May 19, 2016 · Hello. I just got my iPhone 5S about a week ago. Switching from Windows Phone so this is my first time on an iOS device. I'm having trouble however getting my phone to read my texts to me while connected to my car via Bluetooth. I have a Nissan Maxima 2007. I paired my iPhone with it but Siri doesn't read texts I receive. Does anyone know why?
