Jan 28, 2009 · If a fellow user knows the answer, they aren't allowed to say until Apple makes an announcement. I do know that the iPhone does not support storing contact info on the SIM card but this shouldn't prevent syncing or transferring contact info via Bluetooth.

Jan 26, 2011 · The iphone 4 does not have full remote sim access profile as does Nokia. This means I cannot connect to a car kit with a seperate GSM module to make use of the external antenna.

Nov 09, 2013 · My Blackberry Bold 9780 works faultlessly using SIM access profile with the high phone preparation - depends if you classify this as a smart phone though :-). Wireless internet access within the vehicle, Google Earth, online navigation searches, addresses, etc, etc.

Oct 09, 2015 · Samsung has a long SIM-Access support history in their S-class series. Nowadays, many Android chipsets support SIM-Access via Bluetooth out of the box as well. Therefore, it depends more on the built-in chipset revision (MediaTek, Qualcomm, Broadcom, …) rather than the bought phone brand (like HTC or LG).

At least they're not when by saying "4G" you're referring to the 4G or 4G LTE cellular network standard, which is the successor to the 3G standard used by the iPhone 4 & 4S.This is what most phone companies mean when they say "4G."
