Apr 19, 2016 · It does suggest that if the sending device is using AVRCP 1.3 or higher then the track names should show and therefore if OS X is using 1.4 in theory the names should show. It might be worth adding a reply to that thread so Bose see it is a wider spread issue.

Dec 16, 2011 · Mazda says their head unit is AVRCP 1.3 compliant Apple says their iOS 5 is AVRCP 1.3 compliant. It doesn't work. Surely there's someone in the right area at Mazda with an iPhone running iOS 5 that they can try it out for themselves with and work out what the problem is!

Yea, a little late. Any way, firmware update 4.1 added full Bluetooth support .It was not an option with the iPhone. before Oct. 2010, only partial 2.1 profile not 3.0. So I guess "The nerd" was expecting something standard on windows phones for over 5 years( 3.0 profile)

Jul 07, 2010 · This creates a potentially dangerous problem for Prius users who have to then fiddle with the controls on their iPhone to control music instead of using the safer controls at their fingertips and in front of their eyes. PLEASE help keep us all safe and implement AVRCP 1.4.

May 22, 2012 · According to it's Bluetooth Qualification the device does support AVRCP 1.4. HOWEVER According to Nokia the media player has not been updtated to use the new features... this means that the features exist on the phone, but you cannot use them...
