I was told by a computer store staff that a VGA splitter won't work. Is it possible to connect one using the VGA plug and another using a HDMI adaptor? May 24, 2012 · I have removed the NVS300 video card from HP 8200 machine to enable Intel (R) HD Graphics Family card and then installed drivers version “8.15.10.2476 dated: 8/9/2011.. Then I use VGA Y splitter to connect dual monitor with the onboard video card. A fter I attached both monitors there are no Multiple displays settings on the machine.
