Aug 17, 2014 · It's an .otf font file which is installed correctly and I use it in every other application on my laptop. It seems that IE (from doing a bit of research) doesn't actually support .otf fonts, which is rather strange considering Microsoft invented .otf!

Nov 16, 2017 · The Problem. The font does not load on IE. I began by looking at the project on IE 10 and 11, the only two IE browsers that, thankfully, we had to provide support for. We used Muli, a Google font available for use.

May 15, 2015 · Thanks again Zoltan. I'll give this a go. When I downloaded the two fonts used on the site, they only came with a .TTF file. Usually they come with more than that on fontsquirrell I didn't know I could convert it to the other formats.

Oct 05, 2018 · To the left of the font name, you see either an "O" for OpenType or you see the "TT" for TrueType. Does this sound right? The one loaded on the machine will override the embedded? How is Windows and/or the font itself smart enough to know that substitute TTF for OTF and vice versa when one is embedded and the other is loaded into the fonts folder?
