So conclusion, SLI works. And it does have a big impact on performance (almost doubles). I don't know what people are talking about, but if someone wants to prove me wrong or explain to me what the deal is, feel free to do so. But the point was, don't believe some Rockstar Support employee when he claims that SLI does not work in GTA.

Feb 03, 2009 · i have the quad sli setup in my sig and it runs in sli mode with bars moving supposedly it does support from 180.84 drivers i have dynamic shadows but on afr2 it doesnt move the sli green indicator hardly at all on afr it uses a little more it supports it but i wouldnt say it utilizes maximum .. but what games do ... simple answer yes it does, but not a great super amazing improvement .. id ...

Jul 03, 2015 · GTA 5 so-called sli "support" (VRAM issue still not fixed) I remember buying this game and was ready for 60 fps maxed-out settings @ 1080p with my 2 980's and i7-4790k, no matter how fast I drove. I remember seeing all the threads/forums/etc. about how GTA 5 was actually going to be a "good" port before the game launched.

Dec 05, 2008 · i just picked up GTA4 for the PC today and to my dismay it has no SLI support. Does anyone have a work around or maybe info as to when we will have a new beta driver that will include GTA4 SLI support? i found this info buried in the rockstar support section.....

Dec 21, 2010 · GTA4 is on the official list of games that support SLI. Still, on my computer GTA4 runs better with SLI disabled. I get around 29-30 FPS in the benchmark with SLI enabled or disabled.

I ran this on two 970s with a i5 6600K, at 2560x1440. A definite improvement while using SLI in terms of framerate, but once I'd switched to a single GTX 1080, the amount of micro-stutter while using SLI became very apparent. I'd say it certainly does support it well in terms of frame-rate, but the frame-pacing was an issue for me.

May 26, 2013 · GTA IV is supported by SLI; It just only improves FPS by about 10%. It's not on the retail edition. And I've actually checked through every patches change-log and there's no mention of multi-GPU support being added. SLI is supported and enabled for GTA4, just follow the steps I outlined before to see the SLI indicator in game.
