Jul 03, 2015 · GTA 5 so-called sli "support" (VRAM issue still not fixed) I remember buying this game and was ready for 60 fps maxed-out settings @ 1080p with my 2 980's and i7-4790k, no matter how fast I drove. I remember seeing all the threads/forums/etc. about how GTA 5 was actually going to be a "good" port before the game launched.

I ran this on two 970s with a i5 6600K, at 2560x1440. A definite improvement while using SLI in terms of framerate, but once I'd switched to a single GTX 1080, the amount of micro-stutter while using SLI became very apparent. I'd say it certainly does support it well in terms of frame-rate, but the frame-pacing was an issue for me.

Dec 05, 2008 · i just picked up GTA4 for the PC today and to my dismay it has no SLI support. Does anyone have a work around or maybe info as to when we will have a new beta driver that will include GTA4 SLI support? i found this info buried in the rockstar support section.....

Jan 12, 2014 · GTA IV runs fine in 2 x SLI on both of my rigs (desktop and laptop). Check my profile for the specs, if you're curious. I can't think of any reason why it wouldn't run fine in 3 x SLI, too.

May 26, 2013 · SLI does not double the amount of memory available to an application, that stays the same as if you only had one card. No you don't get it. In the graphics settings, GTA IV detects the amount of available VRAM and there is a visual indicator at the bottom displaying how much of the available VRAM is used up by the current graphical options.

No 3D applications support SLI/CF if they're not in Fullscreen mode. Borderless windowed does not work. More specifically though, FFXIV has terrible (if any) dual-GPU support these days. I can't get it to work properly with Crossfire either.

What we need is a SLI profile editor which works with the new Forceware 259 drivers so we can literally duplicate the GTA IV profile, but change the .exe name within the profile! John UPDATE I have managed to resolve the flickering in Episodes from Liberty City using nVidia's Advanced SLI Profile editing utility for Forceware 256 based drivers.
