Also bare in mind that it will not work out of the box , you have to go inside prefereces and setup your tablet to be used by gimp and that assumers you have the latest drives installed and gimp actually supports your tablet.

Jul 08, 2017 · In gimp, by default, the pen draws exactly the same quality as the mouse does. no pressure sensitivity. I have played with the dynamic brush settings. I've copied a brush and tweaked the curves and checked different boxes.

Feb 21, 2017 · Just purchased an XP-Pen STAR 03 tablet. Installed the drivers and can see the pressure (2048) change in the app that came with the tablet. In GIMP 2.8(latest) > Configure Input devices. I can see the device as a "3 button stylus pen". If i leave the mode to disable then I can draw on a canvas (but no pressure sensitivity)
