May 14, 2015 · SLI does work in FSX, it just doesn't work in cockpits like NGX. In spot view, if you do load the single GPU so that it does 100%, SLI will be of benefit (I did a test 2 years ago I believe...). However once you switch to NGX, SLI becomes negated.

Jan 15, 2007 · The developers explain this by the fact that they made FSX support multiple monitors - a mode currently NOT supported by SLI (neither by ATI's Crossfire). Basically having an SLI system does NOT benefit FSX at all. But if you play other games, you may enjoy a boost in performance depending on the game and how well they specifically support SLI.

Mar 28, 2009 · No, the original flight sim does not support SLI. and technically neither does FSX either, it has an SLI profile in the drivers, but the game was never intended to be used with multi GPU configurations unfortunately. So there is little benefit from running SLI, save from getting higher image quality without losing performance.

May 29, 2007 · As I said on my blog, ages ago, its not that FSX doesnt support SLI. Its more that because FSX RTM was so CPU-bound SLI didnt matter until 25x16 and 16xAA. SP1 should be more SLI friendly, but even there given we are still somewhat CPU limited its …

Microsoft Flight Simulator X is an older game, which basically supports SLI, but doesn't work 100%. SLI breaks in some situations and we did some work to find out in which situations. First of all, this is the origial thread on AVSIM that I started today, and some results from …

Dec 20, 2014 · And most FSX code was desigtned to be backwards compatible with even older versions of FS. So while technically not impossible to get SLI working, I really really really really doubt it will ever happen for FSX. Licensing might be an issue that prevents this work in any case.

FlyInside FSX does not support SLI, but FlyInside P3D does. If you have FlyInside P3D, SLI will allow you to increase your resolution and MSAA levels, for a smoother and crisper experience.

Sep 22, 2006 · SLI will have no effect on FSX. The reason you haven't seen any posts about it is because the matter was laid to rest some time ago. I can't find it but tdragger posted it quite some time ago. Also, there was a lengthy article on SLI & FSX on one of the MS Blogs but it's so old, it's disappeared.CalCYXX.

Nov 14, 2017 · 1 Answer. X-Plane does not and has no plans to support multiple graphics cards. As a small team, the development time/cost is too high to implement this feature. We encourage people to buy the best single GPU they can afford instead of purchasing 2 lower quality ones.

Jan 30, 2007 · Hey everyone, I recently upgraded my main PC components and very pleased with the performance of SLi in other game applications. BUT not with FSX!!! It seems that FSX does not support SLI technology. This is sad, but the good news is that I can run FSX with one 7800GT with medium settings and good FPS. SLi and FSX are not friends.
