So you have the latest viewer and still can't see mesh - what's the deal? Well, it isn't necessarily automatic. Depending on your specific hardware, certain settings that need to be enabled for mesh, may be set off by default. Go to Preferences → Graphics -> General; then enable Basic Shaders.

Jan 18, 2019 · Other affected users say the same problem happens on the current LL viewer. Other users say it does not & it only happens on Firestorm 6.0.1. From the logs we have had off affected users, they all show problems with Http Pipelining, which can cause corrupted mesh & textures. However not everyone is fixed by disabling Pipelining & clearing cache.

There is a new debug setting in this release of Firestorm that can cause mesh uploaded using “Analyze” on OpenSim grids only to render invisible. Mesh should never be uploaded with Analyze on OpenSim because it causes broken mesh that can crash the viewer, but unfortunately there is a fair bit of content that was uploaded in this way.
