Dec 27, 2013 · FileZilla Server does not support SFTP. FileZilla Client does support connecting to third-party SFTP servers, however. But you are encouraged to use FTPS (FTP over TLS/SSL). Both FileZilla products support it. Just generate yourself an SSL certificate in the server (or import a bought one) and enable TLS.
