    Jun 05, 2008 · DVI-D is, in essence, the basis for the video component of HDMI, so yes, it will support 1080p. There is just no audio since DVI is video only. Note there are digital (DVI-D) and analog (DVI-A) versions (as well as single and double link and integrated) -- you need the DVI-D.
