Feb 02, 2010 · And since the DGL-4500 simply is the "Gaming" version of DIR-655, with 5GHz support and GameFuel I thought that nothing could be better than the DGL-4500. Or perhaps the DIR-855 would be, but as it get delayed all the time, and I'm not really needing the Dual-Band I didn't want to wait for it …

May 04, 2010 · The Apple router doesn't have the feature to limit bandwidth or set priorities on a certain ip on the network so I'm pretty the DGL-4500 does.

EA4500 snmp support. I'm unable to find any documentation on EA4500's support for SNMP. It's leading me to believe the router does not support this protocol, although I'm still havinga hard time believing a $150 wireless router doesnt support simple network managment.

May 06, 2008 · You are correct, the DGL-4500 will only support one band at a time, so all connections have to be either 2.4GHz or 5GHz. The DIR-855 supports connections from both bands simultaneously.
