The only controller Dead Space likes is the Xbox 360 controller. It's the only officially supported controller, since you can't redefine the buttons on any other controller. If you insert a non-360 controller, it will detect it and automatically map the buttons for you, but the buttons will be wrong.

I don't know a single Xbox to PC port that doesn't support a 360 controller, so I would assume so. First one had native 360 controller support. This one probably will to. Most PC games now have native support for it. And if you hear as the warm night falls. The silver sound from a time so strange.

Dec 19, 2014 · I'm still buying this on sale, but I'm just curious what it means by "partial" support rather than full. It seems like it would either support a controller or not, no partial. its a safe statement it means it has it but sometimes the mouse and keyboard takes over..its stupid. dont mind it for this game.

also, if you have a gaming mouse like a Logitech G9, increasing the dpi helps if you need more sensitivity just remember to max it already on Dead Space settings, turn off v synce on dead space settings, force v sync on in the nvidia control panel (if you have an nvidia card), and turn on triple buffering.

Jan 02, 2014 · Does anyone have a profile I could use for Dead Space? The only one I found was before the right joystick functionality for free-look update. I tried it myself but I can't figure out how to do it such that it doesn't fire the gun on its own. Wasting ammo in this game is brutal.
