Aug 26, 2013 · I have the wired 360 controller for windows, brand new, but when I play dead space 1 the game won't recognize slight movement or aim with either of the joysticks. This is the only game where I have the problem though, I have deadspace 3 and it works perfectly.

Mar 15, 2014 · Im using a genuine wired 360 controller. Works with every other game but dead space 2. I can use the d pad to scroll through the start menu in game. But when I try to set up the controls in settings nothing. I can highlight the controll to change then no response from any button on the controller.

The only controller Dead Space likes is the Xbox 360 controller. It's the only officially supported controller, since you can't redefine the buttons on any other controller. If you insert a non-360 controller, it will detect it and automatically map the buttons for you, but the buttons will be wrong.

Depends on the system really, I'm running an Asus ZX75LAB with a core i5 5200, integrated graphics and 8gb ram with windows 10 64 bit. I also use the xbox 360 controller for windows and don't really have any issues. I believe any system built after 2013 should run it fine without much difficulty.

Some games on PC you needa controller Just Cause 2 but when I played the first Dead Space I tried to use the controller but it didn't feel right . It worked better with a mouse and keyboard. This one i might use a controller. well see.
