Oct 06, 2016 · No, WPA2 is not supported by the Cisco Aironet 350 WLAN radio cards. WPA2 was approved by the IEEE802.11 after the Cisco End of Support for this radio card. To use WPA2, a different radio card will be required. Honeywell does supply and support Summit replacement radios that do support all the current encryption and security protocols.

Nov 19, 2004 · "Access points must use Cisco IOS Release 12.2(11)JA or greater to enable WPA" Does that mean I can't set up WPA with a NetGear AP (wich support WPA-PSK) for example ? I didn't notice in Aironet 350 Profiles any possibility to enter the Pre Shared Key for WPA authentication, got only LEAP, EAP-FAST and Host Based.

Note: WPA 2 and AES is also supported on Cisco Aironet 1200 series radio modules with the part numbers AIR-RM21A and AIR-RM22A. However, the Cisco Aironet 1200 radio module with the part number AIR-RM20A does not support WPA 2. Note: Cisco Aironet 350 series products do not support WPA 2 because their radios lack AES support.

Re: Aironet 350 I am not sure about bridges but for 350 access points, if you upgrade to latest firmware -12.3(7)JA- you should be able to use WPA (TKIP). And if you are using Cisco Client Adapters, also download latest Installer on laptops with latest ACU version which will support WPA.
