Apr 09, 2008 · The lack of information regarding the 1D Mark III and UDMA tells me that it is not UDMA compliant, like its big brother the 1Ds Mark III. That said, though, the 1D Mark III will use UDMA cards fine (I am using the Extreme IV 4GB), and the advantage then becomes the blazing transfer via Firewire on my computer.
