Re: Old rotary phone (GPO 746) on fibre phone line? I can't answer your question directly - but pulse dialling is being phased out - so even if it does its not a long term solution. Also there is the issue of when you have to press 1 for sales, 2 for support etc.

This new equipment is not compatible with pulse dialling. BT lines to the best of my knowledge are at present unaffected. So what does this mean to me with a dial telephone? If you have a telephone account with BT for a domestic line, you should be be ok. The dial telephone will work well.
