Re: UPnP on Home Hub 3.0 Just don't expect it to work with most things or well with any of them.Works ok for me with xbox and xp but not 2003 server, 2008 server, Windows 7 x64 etc. That and manual port-forwarding is FUBAR...plenty of discussions if you search, especially on port forwarding.

Apr 08, 2011 · Since having the Home Hub 3 installed as part of the Infinity package I cannot connect to them using UPnP. UPnP is turned on at the router and NAS. The AC Ryans can access the NAS using a browser and NFS shares and the PS3 can access the internet with no problems.

Re: WDMyCloud and Home Hub 6 UpNp issues I did try setting up port forwarding for the 3 ports that the WDMyCloud requires (as described by WD support) but I didn't use a static IP for it, nor disable UpNp on the hub.

Re: BT Home Hub 5 - Port Forwarding bug. If you did not manually setup port forwarding when you wer using Sky, then it almost certain it was simply uPnP that was doing all the work. You could try resetting the home hub to factory default, then simply allow uPnP to do the job. If you look in the event log, you will be able to see this taking place.

Re: Upnp, dnla and file sharing broken by home hub 5... Lots of us do have the same problems, and as gg points out, they are caused by BT seeming to think their responsibility stops at the homehub's internet input, and not providing many of the most basic home networking functions within the homehub.
