Jan 29, 2010 · AT&T has a Blackberry data plan with unlimited data, and also a Blackberry data with tethering plan with 5G / month. The tethering option doubles the monthly cost - at least in my area. So - if you tether and don't have the tethering plan you are subject to data charges - and I am told they can tell if your data usage is from tethering.

Nov 23, 2011 · Has anyone had any success tethering ANY android tablet to a Blackberry Bold 9700 via Bluetooth DUN? It has to be DUN since the Bold 9700 can't support Bluetooth PAN. Just curious to see if this is even possible.

Re: tethering with BB 9700. As far as I know, yes you can. I know for sure you can with the 9000. Edited to add: But of course only while actually connected to 3G. Nov 23, 2009 · just bought my 9700 today, very excited but a bot frustrated that I can't seem to figure out the tethering with my mac with either Bluetooth or USB. I would love if somebody post the instructions to tether for both BT and USB for the MAC computer? I use a Macbook 10.5.8 and I have T-Mobile as a carrier. Feb 27, 2010 · Yes, you can. Tethering speeds were slower on my 8320 but when I got my 9700 it was faster by about 5X. Also, you can talk while tethering. I do it all the time. You can even text, send MMS, etc while tethering. It's great!
