Oct 28, 2007 · I corresponded with Yahoo! support over a month ago about free IMAP support. Best reason to have IMAP is when in a location where no Internet service is available. You can write messages off line and read messages retrieved earlier. Yahoo! was forwarding it to executive board for consideration ie to provide free IMAP service. Not heard a word.
