Jun 11, 2012 · I then did a little google search with mixed results, most of which seem to say you can't use it with IPTV services like U-verse. Is ANYONE using this box with U-verse (in Northern CA particularly)? If not, what about another one like it (less ideally, a USB solution)? I'm at a loss, spent most of my weekend in tech support woe.

Jul 21, 2017 · No, TIVO (cable card) is not compatible with Uverse IPTV. When the fiber service becomes available you may wish to consider ATT Fiber internet with DirecTv Now streaming service which should have a cloud based DVR by year end.

Jan 12, 2009 · I think U-verse should have to support cablecard, either with a special box that talks to the card, or built in to there service. Click to expand... There's no point in that, since security is already built in to the IPTV protocol, and any IP based device can support it.
