Hey, i bought amnesia waay back in like 2013 on the Gamestop App. i heard they released controller support for the game a while back. problem is i dont have any controller support when i boot up the game. How would someone without steam the steam version get this update? thanks.

Can I plug in a USB controller (or my Xbox 360 controller)? I'm wondering if it wouldn't be a good idea because the door-opening in amnesia is sensitive and I'm not positive it would translate to a controller. I bought this game months ago but I haven't played more than 5 minutes of it because I hate using the keyboard to move.

Sep 16, 2015 · This game appears to have issues when using an xbox one controller, the buttons are swapped around (RS does not work, LT looks upwards) - it works fine with an xbox 360 controller. This appears to be a common issue with older games. Any chance of a fix?

Jan 15, 2014 · Since the game does not seem to work with a controller, either this is not the 1.3 patch, controller support was dropped from the patch, or my system isn't set up properly. I played Resident Evil: Revelations with my Xbox 360 controller and immediately switched to Amnesia, so I'm pretty sure my system is working correctly.
