Dec 18, 2016 · No Ryzen CPUs only work in a AM4 socket because of the pin count difference. Also a AM3+ socket only supports DDR3 RAM while the Ryzen CPU requires DDR4 RAM.Reviews: 3

Aug 10, 2012 · AM3+ CPU's will fit an AM3 socket the trick is BIOS support (mostly). AMD will not officially support AM3+ CPU's in anything but 9 series AMD chipsets. Dec 22, 2015 · That's because of the integrated igp which is sencitive to speeds/vcore etc. Generally, FM2+ CPU's need higher clocked RAM's such as 1866/2100/2333 with loosen cas instead of tight cas. AM3/AM3+ mobos are way more years in production and don't have this problem because of the lack of igp inside the CPU's.Reviews: 2
