Nov 24, 2014 · So far, Qualcomm Atheros has no chipset for USB adapters that supports 802.11ac and the ath10k driver for their PCI* products doesn't support packet injection, yet. There are some chips from MediaTek (Ralink), but the list is fairly slim and none fit your description. The lack of 5GHz support bothers me as well.
