Aug 13, 2013 · So in terms of network equipment, all you have is the NBN NTD, your AirPort Extreme, and the Gigaset? I think we're all missing the point here that the Extreme doesn't support VOIP. If you want to use your Gigaset, you'll have to get a VOIP-capable router, even if it has an ADSL2+ modem part attached. To clarify: your router is the Extreme.

Oct 13, 2013 · Buy the cheapest modem/router from JB HiFi. You then put it into Bridge Mode (or the Airport Extreme setup does it for you). Agreed. Only double check that it supports bridge mode. There are some around that don't. I have the new ac extreme and so far it has been extremely stable.
