May 05, 2010 · I have been using another DVD program to play DVDs without issue but decided to go ahead and buy WinDVD because it was cheaper than trying to upgrade the other program to play BD. After installing WinDVD, when I try playing any DVD using WinDVD, I get the message that "your display environment does not support protected content".
