It's important to note however, WMM is needed for HT mode - even if QoS is not used - WMM enables frame aggregation at the MAC layer - this is one of the ways that HT mode gets better bandwidth utilization.

However with WMM disabled my download speed was 20Mbps and with WMM enabled my download speed was 1Mbps. I know that this method isn't exactly scientific, but that seems like a big enough difference to say that WMM is screwing something up for me. Again I only enabled WMM I left the prioritization disabled.
