Jun 26, 2008 · America, as the government, did the fund them, or at least they will not admit it. If they did they will never admit it because they are afraid people will get angry after 9/11. However, calling the IRA terrorists is one way of looking at it. Many people consider them (including me) freedom fighters. They did what they had to.
