May 04, 2012 · Hey, so I'm trying to find out why David Rice Atchison supported slavery...but I seriously can't find anything about it. Was this guy like stupid and just thought slavery was right because he was lazy or something? I don't like this dude. So, if you know anything about why he wanted to keep slavery legal or whatever, then could you tell me why?
