Will all work as they have WDS mode options. (on a side note dd-wrt - open source firm ware for routers - is not supported by the entire - DG834G series so dont even bother looking. I know this is an old post but someone will surely google onto it in the future so it is nice to have a definite answer.

Apr 20, 2009 · The connection between DG834Gv4 and WPN802 would be wireless (using WDS, which both support). Although I'm technically minded, my networking skills are very limited, and I can't get this to work. To configure the devices, what I have is the DG834Gv4 connected via cable to the PC, and the WPN802 connected via cable to the DG834Gv4.

I thought to get the top in home networking with the E3000 but looking for the WDS settings to add and AirPort Express or something other as repeater I can’t find it. Is it possible not having the WDS settings on this kind of product? My old Netgear DG834G got it, and I can’t think it is missing in the E3000.
