This instrumental study reports on the development and evaluation of a Social Support Scale (CAS, for its name in Spanish), as part of a larger study that aims to develop valid and reliable psychosocial instruments in the Puerto Rican context. Based on an exploratory factor analysis, a set of six items was extracted representing two independent factors.
