Normally VT-x needs to be enabled in Bios too but I could not see any such option in the N5030 Bios, though I have not yet installed the latest available. I am concerned that the Bios has the VT-x support disabled and installing a CPU with VT-x support (if the CPU will work at all) will not bring me virtualization support.

To enable 64-Bit support for Virtual Machines in VMware ESX, you must Enable Virtualization Technology and to configure the ESX host for Enhanced vMotion Compatibility, you must Enable Execute Disable.These settings can be found under the CPU info section of the Dell BIOS.

Hi all, I have a Dell Latitude E7440 with win 10 and it seems I'm not able to enable the vt-X option requested by virtual box. I checked the bios and all virtualization options are enabled. with an intel tools it seems the processor doesn't support the virtualization, which sounds strange, infact people from intel confirmed that the processor does support it.

As for VT-X, the option shows up in BIOS setup (yes the system supports it) only when a VT-x capable CPU is installed (the T4500 does not support VT-x so you won't see the option now). The T9300 should work in this system. The system supports up to 8G of RAM.
