Nov 22, 2003 · I have a DELL Latitude D600 with Intel(R) Pro/2100 Wireless LAN installed. My home has a cable connection that is connected to LINKSYS BEFW11S4 Wireless Router. This router server 1 PC with wired LAN, and I also managed to get it connected to my D600 via wired LAN. However, when I tried to switch to wirelan LAN on my D600, I encountered problem.

Nov 21, 2012 · To uninstall the wireless adapter, go to Device Manager and select Network Adapter, find the wireless adapter and right click on it, now choose uninstall and once completed restart the system. Reinstall the wireless drivers from the Dell’s support site. After the drivers are installed configure the wireless connection.

I am trying to get my wireless card to run it is a BCM4306 i am also running a 2.6.20-1.2948.fc6 kernel. i have a minPCI card. i am afraid that if i install the wrong thing it will be mess up forever and i will have to start over. if it is not a big deal i would realy like a step by step answer ty.

Re: dell latitude d600 Do you have any security enabled on the router (like MAC address filtering or encryption), if so, either temporarily disable these on the router or set the router back to its default settings to see if these security measures are causing the problem.

Feb 09, 2011 · I should also add that i don't use the zero connection to connect to the internet i use a wireless wifi software downloaded from dell support drivers page. And also at first I thought that the software might be the problem so I downgraded it, and it worked but the same problems started again, so I know that the software has nothing to do with it.
