    Jun 18, 2015 · Everything was progressing like any other installation I have done until I was asked to pick the mirror. I chose ftp.us.debian.org like I normally do and it was rejected. When I checked the output on virtual console 4, I am seeing the message "mirror does not support the specified release (jessie)."

    I won't list the entire saga of a problematic install, because it might not be relevant and I might bury the wood under trees. I am doing a net install. I cannot find a usable mirror. I have tried at least 4 in the UK and 2 in Holland. So I can progress no further.
