Nov 23, 2012 · I just bought Dear Esther and tried it with the Vireio drivers today. After having played demos with native support for Oculus SDK, using the Vireio headtracking and 3d effect was a major step back. I can see the potential. It looks more beautiful inside the Rift than on my monitor, but I just can't hold out longer than 5 minutes like this.

Any plans to support VR headsets? Cheers. I have bad news, i tried my dear esther gog version and a couple of games i played before with vrgin and no one works :( so looks like the problem is not only related to dear esther is something about the plugin itself, i try to change openvr_api.dll to newer ones into the game plugin folder but still dont working, i try with a older steamvr version ...

Feb 14, 2017 · Im lucky guy, i have played older Dear Esther in my 3d vision rig and its a breathtaker :), when landmarks edition was released i buyed ( in gog srry gabe!) and unlucky the 3d support was gone :( . As most times the great pc community come to help and now i can enjoy again this amazing experience in VR :D, all of you can!!!!!

Jun 01, 2014 · Even being familiar with both Dear Esther and Oculus Rift content, and even having imagined Dear Esther in VR for ages, I was not prepared for the “reality” of it. I wish I could have played Dear Esther for the first time, cold, in VR. I’m sure I will replay it on the Rift many times.

Dear Esther on the rift. Has anyone played this on the rift? I heard that it's compatible with the rift and it feels like it's optimised for it so i want your opinions on it.
