Mar 21, 2015 · Controller support for Dead Rising 2 on the PC has *never* worked as far as in concerned. i pluged in my Wired 360 and the "Controller" optin in the "PC Settings" menu is greyed out regardless sorry to say, but it doesnt work at all

Yeah, same here. Steam edition (US) running win7 x64, but it won't see the wireless 360 controller and receiver. I've tried all the supposed fixes and work aorunds I could find (e.g. x360ce), but nothing works.

Run Dead Rising 2 and you should hear some noise while the copyright screen is loading, then the controller settings should be able to be enabled. I have used this for a real wireless 360 controller and a ps3 controller emulating a 360 controller so it should work for everything! :) …

Now run Dead Rising 2, probably the controller option still unavaliable on the game options. Log in on the Game For Windows Live profile and download the last update. Close the game and automatically the update will install. Run the game again, the DualShock3 now should finally work!
