Apr 30, 2019 · I got my rift a month ago and found if I open DCS within the oculus library it won't work, so I either open it as I used to from my Win 10 start menu (before I put my rift on), or if I have the rift on, I will bring up the desktop and again open it from the start menu. Non Steam version of DCS.

I have a cheap HOTAS for ED and it works fine as I can map 99% of used buttons on it (around a dozen, two dozen with multimapping). IIRC to even take off in DCS you need like 20 different one time keyboard presses, are people using HOTAS with that many buttons/mappings or do you cheat and use keyboard (and if so, how? removing the headset for a single keypress seems absurd)

Feb 26, 2019 · I just received my Rift and I'm looking to use it with DCS. I set the Oculus setting to allow app outside Oculus to run, then in DCS VR setup I ticket the appropriate box. When the Rift is connected, I see only half of the DCS game window on my screen, so I cannot navigate through the game menus.
