Oct 06, 2011 · Make sure to use the built-in version from dcdiag on the Windows server 2008 R2, therefore install the "Active directory domain services" with the Add/remove role in the server manager, this will NOT make the server domain controller. Also the support tools from Windows server 2003 are NOT supported on the new OS versions.
