Im a console gamer but play DayZ.Its more fun to learn the controls of the keyboard and mouse.It makes the game more of an experience and something diffferent from controller usage all the time.Compared to some PC games DayZ was surprisingly easy to learn and to get used to.

Dec 24, 2013 · I believe I play Day Z quite well yet because the controller support is limited (just as it was in Arma 2) I find my self wanting more for the standalone/mod so I can be even more competitive. Rocket you have stated you want to one day see Day Z on consoles (I prefer to play games on PC) . Now is the time to include full controller support.

I would expect controller support to be worked on for PC gameplay. If not, personally I would view this as being lazy. Controllers are widely used in PC gaming and we just have to wait to see how things play out. I would assume that the user interface is the key part to controller support.
