Dataset does not support bookmarks, which are required for multi-record data controls I was about to post problem but in mean time I have found (with a lot of testing) solution.

Note: Unidirectional datasets do not support bookmarks. Calling GotoBookmark on a unidirectional dataset does not change the active record. Calling GotoBookmark on a unidirectional dataset does not change the active record.

Call GetBookmark to establish a bookmark for the active record in the dataset. Establishing a bookmark for a record enables a dataset to return to that record at any time while the bookmark exists. GetBookmark requires that a variable for the bookmark (for Delphi, of type TBookmark ) already be declared in the application.
