May 23, 2018 · Ive played dark souls 3 many times and ive always used keyboard and mouse so I prefer it, one of the main points I want to know about the remaster is if it improves on how keyboard and mouse feels vs modded pc, because that might sway me to get it for 20$ since I own the original but have only played it for a couple hours

PC Controls PC. This is the default button layout of the PC version. The on-screen prompts and tutorial messages in the PC version are the same as the XboX version, and not very helpful if you use a keyboard.

I think mouse and keyboard can be eaisily implemented, only and if the devs are willing to spend some time and money on it. For example, games like witchers and lords of the fallen and so many other games that have very solid mouse and keyboard support. So, I don't find any excuse for not giving us pc gamers what we need.

I can see mouse and keyboard working okay with this game. The reason everyone used a controller to play Dark Souls 1 on PC was because you simply couldn't play with the mouse. The camera was laggy and unresponsive with the mouse, whereas Dark Souls 2 fixes that and it works very smoothly.
