If necessary you should be able to simply rename an existing zapata.conf file to chan_dahdi.conf and get the system up and running again with DAHDI. All zaptel userspace tools have also been replaced with a DAHDI counterpart. All DAHDI tools are prefixed with ‘dahdi_’ now (with the exception of the HPEC tool). For example: zttool is now dahdi_tool

May 11, 2010 · Its not Dahdi Status its Dahdi show channels that says DID_trunk_1 don't get that Also this is a x100p clone not a true wild card. Which when I purchased it nothing was said about it being a clone. Any one have any thoughts on this, i'm out of ideas. Have ordered a T1 card, would still like this for backup and 911.

fxotune -s is generally run by /etc/init.d/dahdi on startup if fxotune.conf exists, FYI dahdi is not part of asterisk nor FreePBX so please adjust your thinking. No you don’t need another asterisk box you need as local as possible (relative to your pstn provider) milliwatt test number, google for that.

Even though there is a FreePBX module for DAHDI, DAHDI is still a separate package with its own configuration. You can set it up without FreePBX, an exercise I recommend, even if you are going to eventualy set it up for the module.

I have an X100P SE from X100P.com, which is based on the required DAA, so I know mine can be set for complex impedance. Right, a bit of background.
