Sep 30, 2008 · The new d-links dir-655 & Co. won't be supported, becose they use Ubicron architecture - AND this is not open sorce, thre are no tools/library fore this crap! the root of mipsel - MIPS are used by broudcom are 30 years so the library is good. D-link make some broudcom/atheros based routers as premium routers _____

Feb 07, 2014 · There will NEVER be DD-WRT or for that matter any alternate firmware for the DIR-655 or any other router in it's class. Most of D-Link's high end routers use an Ubicom architecture - something that is NOT open source and therefore CANNOT be developed for DD-WRT.

Mar 22, 2015 · When you scan a 655, its best guess is the DD-WRT firmware (It's 94% sure lol). It appears that he copied the dumbed down version of his results and posted them without actually clarifying that they were not accurate. Here's my full scan results. Check out the bolded section for the proof that it's NOT actually running this firmware.
